She conducts program evaluation and research activities both internally and with schools to inform program improvement and new product development. As a Community School Director, Anna is responsible for the day-to-day management of the community school strategy in collaboration with school leadership and community partners. She also served as an adjunct instructor at SUNY Potsdam in the Secondary Education program where she had the privilege of mentoring many amazing novice teachers. Prior to joining CSS, Shelly managed arts afterschool programs in Brooklyn and Queens, focusing specifically on youth development and community engagement. As Contracts Manager, she ensures requirements are met for all federal, state, school, district, and other contracts. Prior to joining CSS, Roux worked as the studio coordinator of a music school providing administrative support and assistance with event coordination. She coordinates training events, prepares training materials, and supports program evaluation activities and daily office operations. She has extensive background as an organizational consultant and expertise in curriculum and instructional design, transitions management, quality assessment, accreditation team leadership, group facilitation, and community outreach. Catherine has over fifteen years in the educational arena and has held leadership positions with The College Board, Educational Testing Service, and Innovative Schools where she was able to provide schools and districts with the tools and resources needed to provide a quality education for all students. Her passion for working with underserved students has always guided her career and volunteer efforts, and she has been a true advocate for ensuring that the needs of underserved students are met. Her teaching and administrative leadership spans early childhood, elementary, and secondary education across public and private schools in urban, suburban, and rural communities. As a Peace Corps volunteer, she worked to improve health, water, and sanitation conditions in Ghana, West Africa. He provides training, on-site technical assistance, guidance, problem-solving, and coaching to school stakeholders and faculty. As a Community School Associate, Leah supports Bronx area schools in meeting their community school goals, including increasing attendance and parent engagement. He is responsible for collaborating with the various stakeholders within Flushing High School, such as administration, teachers, parents, and the community to support the creation of a supportive, engaging, and rewarding learning environment for students. Pamela Taylor , M. Ross has been a member of the staff at CSS for over 10 years and is a certified school psychologist in New Jersey. In the past, he has worked with a dual language charter school network on upper elementary grade curricular development and teacher coaching, and as a classroom teacher with the New York City Department of Education and a founding charter school in Brooklyn. Angela Powell DeGraff , M. She is passionate about providing support to families in need. She supports daily office operations, coordinates training events, prepares training materials, and supports program evaluation activities. Through community strategies, Nicholas strives to increase student engagement and attendance along with providing students with the tools they need to become effective members of the community.
